I have a mitsubish L200 triton with acceleration problems and give an error P0089.How to fix the error

Error Code P0089 Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 Performance

code p 0089 refers to fuel pressure regulator---performance problem===causes fuel pressure regulator---mechanical fault
code p 1275 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1--response time===causes--- HO2S--fuel pressure--injectors--intake air leak--exhaust leak--MAF sensor
as the pressure regulator ( fuel pressure) appears in both codes I would be paying attention to that unit first

Check all your fuses. Test each 1 with a test light. If they are all good I would check for codes. Is your check engine light on? If so need a code scanner to read code

HI, this can be caused by a bad rings set or, improper rod bearing clearances as well. The cylinder walls may be worn, due to the bad ring set in this case, in return, causing oil consumption. i would also check Head gasket(s) and, PVC valve as well.
