SOURCE: e320 reset SRS

Hi, Joe here to help,
Without going to a dealer, you need to get a scan tool to reset the srs light. Go to an Autozone store, They will scan it and reset it free of charge.

SRS is not DIY. I strongly suggest you go to a reputable repairer an have it scanned and unless you are very competent Auto Tech leave it to them to repair. The SRS lamp is warning you that the Supplimentry Restraint System has a fault and will NOT funtion if you have an accident. Therfore you don't have this as a backup with your seatbelts .There is a good chance that it is the pressure pad in the passengers seat as has been suggested along with loom and module failures.

SOURCE: How do I manually closed the sunroof that is stuck

in the trunk on the drivers side there is a plastic bolt to turn, in your tool kit should be a socket thing that should fit it to turn it.

Testimonial: "Thanks. I see it. It has a hex head but not a very high profile. Do you turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to close it? Thanks a lot!"

1996 Mercedes E320 back seat removal

As long as this is not a station wagon, run your hand along the bottom edge of the seat where it meets the carpet and you will feel a small indentation about 6 to 8 inches in from each door. Push up (towards the roof) the little tab that is located in this little indentation and lift the seat at the same time. Then go to the other side of the car and repeat this procedure. (there are 2 releases)

How to access my 2004 Mercedes E320 wagon's main battery?

Hi

my knowledge about W210 (Sedan) and S210 (wagon)

Not really sure if other modles got the same location.

Battery located under the Right Back Passenger seat.

for the seadan ... you may have to remove the back seat by pressing the corner bottoms in both sides then left it up and drag it to front to got it free... you will see the battery under it.
for the wagon... open the back right door and release the bottom seat by pressing the lock handle at the side of the seat up.... seat bottom will be cimi free to be lifted to front and then you will have free access to the battery.

if you just need to recharch the low battery... you can find the charging plugs under the hood to the left side ( +) will be covered with black plastic box... open it and connect the possitive cable (red)... ( - ) will be few inches front of that to be conected with nigative cable (black)

Hi; I have a 280 SLK, 2007. The driver seat does not move back and forth and seems to be stuck. The right side of the seat moves (and hence skews forward) but the left side remains stuck. Perhaps...

Just repaired that same problem on my the old ladys 2007 slk 280. Found flexible cable similar to that of a speedometer cable pulled out of end of seat motor. Feel around underneath seat towards back of seat for loose end of flex cable and simply slip it back in the slot at the end of motor

My driver side seat will not move forward or backward

Can you hear the motor turn when trying to go back and forth? If not, motor may be faulty or bad relay in the wiring to that motor.
If you hear motor and seat doesn't move, then the motor may have fallen off track

I have a 2005 gmc envoy and the driver seat gets hot

There may be a stuck relay Stuck in the "On" position. A relay is a remote switch that does the heavier work of a smaller or more delicate switch. It is probably under the seat but if you have "memory" seats that move the power seats back and forth it is probably the control box causing the problem. It has relays inside it.

E320 mercedes cold air only on passenger side.

More than likely you are low on freon. They will blow cold on the right then quit when low. If it is making a hissing noise charge system now. It is a process to get it going again with the computer climate control.

Driver seat not moving back and forth

under the seat is a thin wire that goes from one side to the other it has most likely broke you need to find the secondary lock it was connected to and release it to move the seat but you must also release the main lock so i suggest replacing the wire . THIS IS FOR MANUEL SEATS
now as for power seats you will have to locate the power lead wire and make sure it is not broke if so you can replace the connecter with an aftermarket one and it may work again
