SOURCE: fluid leaking onto the front passenger side floorboards.

2004 TB 60,000 miles. i was just told that the leaking fluid in my passenger side floorboard was do to a clogged up A/c hose. An A/C works by drying/ removing the moisture from the air inside the vehicle and cooling it. The accumulated fluid is usually evacuated under the vehicle which is what you see when people are stopped at a red light and there is dripping under their car. when a hose is blocked there is a vent that from some reason flows directly into the passenger side floor board. If you can not manually knock loose the block your probably going to have to take it to a mechanic.

SOURCE: front axle differential on 2000 chevy silverado

Your pickup leaks just like everyone elses. what you need to do is go down to your local parts store and get an inline fuel filter (your local chevy dealer should also have these available just for this problem), preferably see thru then, where your vent runs up the inner fender cut the line about 4 inches down from the vent and install the filter. this will cure your problem

SOURCE: 2004 chevy classic power windows front passenger

It sounds like the front window has a bad window switch. Removing the switch panel is usually not that difficult. Look for a pry slot usually located at the back of the panel. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver and pry up on the panel. The switch panel should come out of the door panel. Next, locate the wiring harness for that switch. The switch panel can be tested as follows :
1. Connect a test light to one side of the harness and operate the window.
2. Do the same thing for the other side of the harness.
If the light comes on in one direction but not in the other, then the most likely cause is a faulty switch panel. Perform the same procedure for the rear window. If it lights in both directions, then the most likely cause is a bad window motor. If that is what it appears to be, then I can tell you how to test the window motor before replacing. Just give me a response back if you need to. I hope this information has been helpful and thank you for using Fixya.com.

1999 Chevy Tracker 3 of 4 Wheels locked up

. This could be due to a malfunctioning locking hub control system, which is responsible for engaging the front wheels . Another possibility is that the front axle actuator is faulty . The rear breaks may have seized, another possibility, after the break was on so long.. Regarding grinding, It's possible that the transfer case has been damaged due to lack of use or that there is a problem with one of the gears inside.About the power issue, there could be an issue with the drivetrain. It's possible that one of the axles has become disconnected or that there is a problem with one of the differentials. You mentioned that both driver side and passenger rear wheels are stuck, which could indicate a problem with one of these components. I recommend taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for diagnosis.

Why is it oil leaking on the passenger side on the floor?

Hi !
You will need to see weather the oil leak is in the front middle or real side.
If from front then it is leaking from engile sump or the oil filter.
If from middle then the gear box is leaking .. will need to change the gasket.

If from rear then the differential is leaking... either it will be from the differential drain nut .... or from th emain differential assey... here again you will need to get a new gasket...

Front axle 4x4 will not ingage

On the front differential there is a thermal actuator. It engages your front differential. In parts catalogs they are called 4wd actuator. they are not easy to replace.

4wd wont work on 1999 chevy tracker but front drive shaft is turning?

The locking hub control system is not engaging properly. On the 99 Tracker this is a compressed air system that consists of an air pump (compressor), electrical wiring to power and control the air pump, and air hoses that lead to an actuator inside the front differential housing. If there is a leak in the system the PCM will run the air pump for 10 seconds and then shut off, and your propeller shaft can turn all day long, but the front axles will remain free floating. Turn on your key, not your engine, and engage four wheel high. Go listen near the passenger front bumper for the air compressor. If you hear it, then the compressor control and the compressor itself are likely fine. If it shuts off after 10 secs or so, and your 4WD light isn’t on, the PCM timed out the compressor out and shut the compressor off to protect it. You will have to find the leak and fix it. If you are lucky, it’s the air line leading to the front differential; and not the air line inside the differential housing, or the air bladder in the locking actuator, which also resides inside the font diff. If the compressor shuts off and the 4WD light is on (this means the PCM did not shut the air compressor off due to timeout, so the pressure switch read 5-7 psi and the pump shut itself off), you likely don’t have a leak, and something mechanical has the actuator hung up inside the front differential. Lastly if you don't hear the compressor run at all, you either have a faulty compressor, or some sort of wiring problem in that circuit.....it could be as simple as a blown fuse. Good luck.
