Before you could proceed please ensure that the following sub assemblies in good working condition:
- Battery health and it specific gravity.
- Alternator assembly.
- Starter motor assembly.
- Make sure that battery to engine ground thick cable is neat and firm.
- Check battery to chassis/body ground connection.
If the problem persists, check the following:
- Valve clearance.
- Distributor cap and rotor for any crack or corrosion.
- Ignition coil in the distributor assembly.
- Ignition module in the distributor assembly.
- Distributor assembly.
Hope that works.

Changed spark plugs now car has no spark how can i fix that

First are you sure there is no spark, if you removed all the plugs at the same time you might have the firing order wrong. If you have a distributor it may be disconnected from the ignition coil. The cap on the distributor might also be loose, also check the rotor under the distributor cap to make sure it is not damaged. If you have electronic ignition, (no distributor) then make sure your ignition control unit is not unplugged or damaged.

I have a 1996 nissan sunny fuel injected ... i have changed the plugs, injector rail, distributer, throttle body, and my engine is still misfiring can some one advise me please..

inspect the wiring for loose connections or bad wiring.

try adjusting first the distributor by turning it. It should adjust the timing. Other than that inspect the timing on the timing chain or the chain may have developed a slack.

HI, did you try checking the ignition coils. I had the same problem in my car I replace the one ignition coil where there was no power and that solve the problem. try not to buy cheap ones those will blow fast. you can find the Bosh original ones in the internet for a fare price. today at the dealer are about $212.00 each.

My 2003 gmc v6 just had its plugs and wires and distributor cap and button changed and i put the distributor button on wrong, it ran fine 4 a mon. or 2 and one of the screws came out of the button and...

The distributor cap and/or the ignition rotor most likely have a crack somewhere and the distributor cap should be replaced along with the ignition rotor. The ignition module could have been damaged as well as the ignition pick-up coil/stator and if replacing the distributor cap and ignition rotor does not solve the problem then the ignition module or the pick-up coil/stator assembly inside of the distributor is also most likely damaged and the distributor will need to be replaced. There is a certain procedure for removing and replacing the distributor, and the ignition timing is not adjustable and it is not set using a timing light or with the engine running, and if you do have to replace the distributor Let me know if you require the procedure to properly remove and replace the distributor or if you require any further assistance.

1985 chevy has no power going to plugs I changed out distributor and rotor but still know fire?

Replace the pick up coil,in the distributor, along with the ignition module, these work together to pulse the injectors, and the spark for the coil.If one,or both of the parts are bad ,in the distributor, then this would be the problem, also,if you believe the distributor is a good part, and are sure, replace the coil, make sure the rotor button is turning,if it is not, then the timing chain has broke.Rate please,if this was at all helpful, thank you.
