Location of TCM module on a 2001 Hyundai accent gl

From what I gather from this video, it is a combined module ECM/TCM sharing the same box ECM on left and TCM on the right. There is a diagram showing it as well.

Hello, The tcm for this vehicle is located in the dash, if you are sitting in the driver seat, it is on the left side above the brake pedal. I've included a diagram below that may help. I hope this helps. Good luck and God bless.

How do you know the TCM is defective? The failure rate is less than 2% no matter the make of car.

location of oil pressure sensor on 02 hyundai accent gl with a 1.6 liter engine is driver side front of engine. lower near the bottom of the radiator.mind you that is for a 1.6 l

The noise you hear could very well be a lifter. But that is not what is causing your engine light to come on. The engine light problem can be diagnosed by having the codes read. You can have this done for free at most national parts chains such as Advance or Auto Zone. Good luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

Ok, make sure the tcm is connected properly. there is a o/d shift solenoid that is controlled by this device(tcm/pcm). if the wires and module aren't connected properly or, if the tcm/pcm is malfunctioning, it will render the OD inoperable. inspect the tcm and wires on the trans for correct connections and fit. test the module for its operational value and, pull the pan on the trans to test the OD shift solenoid as well.
