I have a 2005 kia amanti and battery dead my doors locked and i try under the car get to starter but it is something like sheild over it how to unlock door

I had the same problem with my kia and they just fixed it. It was a bad switch.

Depends on where you live in the country.  In TN where I live most people just use 10W30 all year, but if you live in a colder area you would use 10W30 in the summer and 5W30 in the winter.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating.

dirty solonoid inside the door ,take door panel off and give everything in sight a good oil with a proper oil can with engine oil in it ,also check the mechanism from the barrel to the electrical switch because a bit of plastic could have broken off where it turns to operate the switch that works the central door locking

Took off door post liner, was able to access the screws holding the door liner on, removed the door liner and was able then to open the door. Replaced broken hold back spring on the door lock.
