1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Wagon, car wont always start in the morning.

I would suspect a worn fuel pump in need of replacement. The rubber seals and gaskets shrink over time AND with the morning cold also loss of lubrication overnight could explain this phenomenon. Luck

Power is not getting to the fuse box on my 1996 oldsmobile cutlass ciera

There is a fuseable link from the starter for some of the circuits, and everything that is controlled by the key switch gets power from there.
Are all of the circuits dead ?

We have an olds cutlass ciera / station wagon. the check engine light came on.

I would have someone check the computer for trouble codes then go from there. You can research the steps online and do it yourself if you like. It only takes a paper clip to make the light flash to get the codes.
Do you know if the cooling fan works ?

Where is the flasher indicator unit located in a 1996 cutlass ciera

I just replaced the turn signal flasher today in my 1996 Olds Ciera. It was not near the steering column. It's actually behind the fuse box in the glove box but the easiest way to get to it is to remove the ashtray/cigarette lighter and it's harness and reach back to the right behind the fuse box. It took all of 10 minutes to replace. This is not the same as the hazard flasher, just the turn signal one.

They have them at most auto parts places. You might need a self tapping screw to put the new one on.
