It's possibly a bad connection. Try a continuity test on the wires. Try activating the fan directly to the battery. Good luck! It's possibly a bad connection. Try a continuity test on the wires. Try activating the fan directly to the battery. Good luck!

I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it
actually helped me repair transmission problem in my jcb 3cx site-master. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and works perfect! got it from www.reliable-store.com
Hi there I am a mechanical technician engineer I fix the things normal mechanic cant! I fix mechanical and electric problem no matter what it is the problem with it!!!I I am very good and bless in my work I am 5gen mechanical engineering technician never have a problem I can not fix Its the ignition switch also have to check out the grounds for the whole car do a voltage drop test to find out the problem
when you write that you had found no fault with the switches, what were you trying to find? I'm not familiar with the wiring in your car, but in my vehicle everything is in series and parallel relays. So if one drops out or malfunctions, the fan does not function. Most cars keep the fan running after the car has been stopped from running because of residual heat in the engine. If it runs beyond 15 minutes I would start to be suspicious.
If it's electric fan then the wiring pig tail is bad or the relay is toast had same problem on electric fan and it was just the wiring at conectors was bad try that k
sounds like youve welded a relay shut with jumpstarting it with the heater on...
check your relays - pull them out one at a time till the fan stops, you have found the relay for your heater=
you can give it a knock on the ground and plug it back in to see if it frees the switch inside otherwise replace it - very cheap - stocked at bmw and good auto shops
are you talking about the fan blower inside the car or the fans under the bonnet..?
the fans under the bonnet may stay on for a while after the engine is switched off to prevent heatsoak. This is when the engine actually heats up more after switch off due to latent heat within the engine. The fans will remain on until the coolant temperature has fallen and stabilised, then the fans will stop. If the blower fan inside the car keeps running, this may be a feature on the car to assist with heat soak but I would think this is more like a faulty power relay or fan controller if the car has climate control..In this case, my advice would be to consult a qualified autoelectrician.
does the fan work,if not check fuses,or maybe switch,or fan motor which is unlikley, you need some one you know whos handy to at least think about it after looking at it in the flesh
Hi.rabbit brains i also checked that and the fuse is ok
