Check your timing or could be timing belt out of 1 tooth. This model of corolla does not use lifter.

SOURCE: What years of Toyota corollas automatic transmissions are interchangeable with 2001 toyota corolla?

If we are talking about the North American region then I believe it's the Eighth generation Toyota Corolla (1998 - 2001).

2001 Toyota Corolla. AC works great in morning.

You are not going to like my solution. By law the only people who can work on a/c or licensed to do so. There is a fine and jail time for those who violate.

If sorry but I would rather see you hot and free than cool and playing basket ball with the other inmates.

2001 Toyota Corolla LE 4 door rear axle noise I believe

First thing I would do is to get a chassis lube job. Many places that do oil changes will also do a chassis lube for you at the same time. The axle bearings can get dry and do require lubrication. If left to long without a lube job, pits can form inside the bearing and will require replacement.

Servicing 2001 Corolla

1998-2008 Corolla has a timing chain. So, your 2001 Corolla does not require a timing belt change, since it does not have one. There is no prescribed replacement interval for a timing chain. your chain will run over 200000 miles or longer.
