Check the hoses between the turbo to intercooler and on to inlet manifold. They split.. No boost, no go.

SOURCE: WHISTLING BELOW TURBO

Its surely not turbo, its is somewhere a hole or leak in turbo air filter housing or air inlet pipe that is making noises when turbo sucks air. check the air pipes wheather they are fitted correctly. Take a keen look at air hose and close any hole with silver tape check the hose is fitted correctly in Turbo air filter housing (if not then it makes whistling noise when air is being sucked by turbo) . Clean all air filters and then give it a go.

SOURCE: peugeot hdi not accelerating fully and oil leak from turbo

Change your engine oil along with oil filter because the same oil is used to cool down your turbo and any dirt means you're going to damage your turbo. Also check the diesel/petrol filter and replace it if not serviced in last two years. Check the hdi pressure (computer diagnose in a garage) because if it is not high enough you can't gain the desired acceleration. If injector seals are leaking then obviously pressure leaks. Clean your turbo sorrounding and check the leakage of oil. In solenoid area If its not enough to drip down or just a little amount that sits with dirt then don't worry (as caused by solenoid seal wear & tear) it has enough life to cover another thousands of miles. Find this solenoid and let it replaced. But if it is from your turbo fan then it doesn't comes out but goes directly in engine to burn with fuel and you can't even find a drop around your turbo housing. Best way is to keep your car serviced in regular intervals.

307 hdi. It turns over, but why doesn't it start?

There are a lot of things that could went wrong.

Faulty key (your key is wrong or malfunctioning..), lock can be faulty, starter could be dead, bad battery...

Motor problems: no fuel, wrong fuel, no fuel in motor it self (turbo, nozzles...), exhausting gas clogged (prank: put potato in the pipe).

Environment: cold weather and diesel engines need special effort to get them running due to heating suppositories. Fuel frozen (add a little bit of gasoline).

My 307 hdi does not accelerate properly

The electrovalve that controls the turbo waste gate needs to be changed it costs around £40. It is located on the front lower part of the engine block. I have done lots of them they are a common fault after about 50000 miles.
