FIRST TIME IN THE SNOW WITH THIS CAR. WHEN STEPPING ON GAS PEDAL AND THE TIRES HAPPEN TO SPIN, MY TRAC LIGHT COMES ON AND MY ENGINE LOSES COMPLETE POWER/ WONT ACCELERATE. I CAN HAVE THE PEDAL FLOORED AND STILL NOTHING. ONCE MY WHEELS STOP SPINNING OR GET SOME TYPE OF TRACTION DOES MY ENGINE REGAIN ALL POWER. NOT SURE IF THIS NORMAL WHEN TRACTION CONTROL ENGAGES OR IF THERE IS A REAL ISSUE HERE.
That's normal operation for automatic traction control.
Testimonial: "this is terrible cause if im stuck there is no getting out due to the fact of no power. is there any way to temp disengage this option without an actual button? i read something about clicking the e-brake up 1 click."
think i wrote response in the wrong spot. but i was wondering if there is a temp disengage fix without an actual button. i read something about clicking the e-brake up 1 notch or something.
The whole manual is online but this link is going to put you on the page about the traction control:https://www.manualslib.com/manual/27226/...
