All the fuses and relays are listed here. Looks like they may be controlled by the Body Control Module?

My 2006 volvo key wont unlock and car wont start but security light flashes

Locate your second key fob -
Try using that key fob -

if it does not work, and you can verify the Batteries in both Fob's are good - it could be a couple different things.

1. your security system control box may be 'bad'.
2. their is a 'ring' around the key area that are notorious for going bad and preventing the car from starting - however...they don't prevent the key fob from remotely opening the door locks.
3. The power feeding the security system is interrupted (blown fuse, etc) -

I would do the following:

1. Check the second fob and see if it works - If it does you have a bad #1 key fob (or battery).
2. Check ALL of the fuses (in the dashboard Drivers side access panel) AND under hood - Check even those not labeled security - as there are often fuses that feed more than one item, but are only labeled for one item.
3. Try going inside the car, shut all the doors, and lock/unlock the car five or six times using the interior control - I believe this is supposed to reset the unit.
I could be wrong - you can look this up. It might be that you have to do this with the key fob but I can't recall.

Give those things a shot. Also, make 100% sure all of the doors, hood, trunk, etc are fully closed.

I'd just about bet you have a bad key fob - finding #2 is the key here.

Beyond that - it's probably a trip to the junkyard for a new security module and matching set of key fobs - But long before getting involved in that - I'd bet you have a bad key fob or blown fuse -

Security Modules and key fob's are not universally replaceable, are extremely difficult to work with (for those without VIDA [Volvo Diagnostic software] and programming capabilities) and have to be programmed to work with the control unit to which assigned.

Fobs are not working on my 2010 ford explorer changed batteries and still dont work. what fuse relates to the fobs

Did you try programming the key fob? Your owners manual has this info. I don't know if programming will help or not? Just a thought.
fleet.ford.com should have your owners manual, if you don't have one,you can read it for free.
Also try owner.ford.com
has owners manual you can look at for free.

2008 Altima with push button start. Why won't the fob unlock doors?

Insert key into and remove it from ignition more than six times in 10 seconds. When the hazards lights will flash twice insert key into ignition and turn to ACC position.
Then push any button on key fob once, the hazard lights will flash twice. Then open drivers door to END.
Should be all working again.

On my 2006 Nissan Altima the Key fob stopped

Take the fob off the key ring and leave at home. Does it still do funky things? If not - it is the fob and first vote is to replace the battery inside - typically a lithium cell. Or the fob itself. If still acting up with the fob away, pull the fuse for the keyless entry, count to 30 and put back. Another less likely cause is the relay - under the hood - marked Keyless entry. If you need to replace the fob, there are instructions for Nissan on numerous sites including below, I have replaced a 2003 and reprogrammed the car to recognize. 2006 Nissan Altima Keyless Entry Remote Programming Instructions...

My key fob has quit working and it tells me no key fob detected. My car is a 2006 Caddie STS. Both fobs have stopped working.

Mine did the same thing. I put the fob into the reprogramming slot located in the center console and was able to get it started by leaving the in the slot. Hope it works for you.

Hi I want to program a new keyless fob. I have the original fob that works great.Do I need to do anything to the original key when I program the new fob? 2006 nissan altima

1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.

2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard
Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder
each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode.

3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.

4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press
the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming
procedure will not be successful.

5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side
power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should
flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing transmitters).

6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.

But a used 2006 solara but key fob does not remotely open trunk. Any suggestions?

Yes, insure that you have power to the trunk lock inside trunk, If not could be lose/broken wire or shot fuse. I am sure the key fob does work for the doors? If not have key fob battery replaced. Also, a quick check on power to trunk lock, check to see if have remote power button inside car, if it works power is good. Defective key fob would then be indicated.
