My Ford F150 XLT Triton driver's side power window

My Ford F150 XLT Triton passenger side power window suddenly went down by it's self and doesn't work anymore. I hear noise in the door when I push the button. But the window doesn't move. What's wrong?

I had both driver and passenger power windows fail and had to have motor and regulator replaced at $300 a pop. Now I have to get the spark plugs and coils replaced. Soon I will have a new 2004 truck.

2006 ford f150 xlt 5.4 triton shakes terribly bad at stay up and stalls and also has an oil leak somewhere near the drivers side manifold. Rpms jump up to 1200 ish and down to 1000 rpms.

how many miles on engine? plugs ever been replaced? computer is trying to compensate for engine miss, this will effect fuel trim and (i a c ) idle air control valve. rpm will go up and down, check EGR operation, and ports for clogging and if who ever pulls plugs make sure they have done a triton engine before. loosen 1/4 turn engine hot, soak plug holes with brake cleaner and PB Blaster penetrant let set over night then remove plugs. blow cylinders out meaning spin engine over before installing new plugs. hope this helps

I brought my #2 plug and wire, I just need to know where the #2 plug and wire is in the F150 Ford XLT 2003 4.6, Triton V8

Number 2 is the seconded cylinder from the f font on the passenger side of the engine. The passenger side from front to back is 1-2-3-4. The drivers side from f font to back is 5-6-7-8

The defrost suddenly quit working this morning and the cab smelled funny in the ford F150 XLT Triton truck I am driving.

Look under dash panel on drivers side above gas pedal is a servo motor that turns a large roundish cam plate. With the key on, see if the cam turns in proportion to the heater control. I have seen some f-150s where the foam that seals the function doors in the heater box falls off and jams the doors up. If the cam plate only turns a little, remove the servo and cam plate(8mm screws) and see if all the levers under the cam move freely. if they don't then you probably have a jammed door and the dash and heater box need to be removed to fix it. BIG JOB!
Hope this helps

2002 Ford Explorer passenger power window problem

Check the fuse panel first, after that check your fuse relays under the hood, if not then it might be a wiring problem.

2004 ford f150 XLT the driver side window will roll down, but it won't roll up. What's wrong?

the regulator possibly is out, I had a similar experience on my vehicle. part cost at the dealer is around 130 dollars, need to remove the door panel. change out the power window regulator, and re-assemble. this is something that is common on the new F 150 trucks, eventually you will need to replace the passenger side as well.Good luck. I hope this helps.

1999 Ford F150 passenger side window regulator

Whn the window does not work try this, Turn on you dome light. Press and hold the window button. Does the dome light dim? If it does it is likely a physical resistance in the window track. If it doesnt then there is a break in the window circuit. Have you tested the switch. The switch could cause an intermitten concern. The wiring of a 1999 f150 the passenger side switch could cause a concern even using the drivers switch. Check both switches using the dome light trick. If you have a test light place the clamp on a ground and the tip to the TN/LB wire and the WH/YE on the driver side switch operating it in boh up and down positions. Each wire should go power in one postion but not the other. The passenger side wire colors are YE/RD and RD/YE. Good luck
