Which computer are you wanting to reset? There are at least 5 on your vehicle. The next question is WHY do you want to reset it? Are you trying to clear fault codes or are you wanting to clear adaptive learning stategies? or BOTH? Are you having a problem with warning lights coming on? If so, have the problems been corrected that CAUSED the lights to come on?
Anyway, a scan tool is required to reset ANY of the computers on your vehicle.
You need to get the check engine light codes read. Until then you're just guessing when you replace parts. The engine light is on for a reason, it means there are stored trouble codes. Get those codes read and look them up here - http://www.obd-codes.com
you need to put it on a computer to find what the code is such as on o2 sensor or a number of other things. once you know the codes you can fix the problem
