SOURCE: 2004 Kia Sedona Timing belt and plug replacement

I'm not familiar with the Sedona but it's very likely that it is much easier to do the plugs when the engine is disassembled for the belt job. If the plugs are due fairly soon anyway, it would save you a lot of money if you just pay for the plugs now and you don't have to pay for all the labor to get at that area of the engine again.

How to replace starter motor on 04 kia sedona

Disconnect the positive battery terminal. You'll need to remove the 3 bolts holding on the heat sheild to the starter, also remove the lower heat sheild on the exhaust manifold. You'll need diconnect to 2 wires attached to the starter and unbolt the 2 bolts holding the starter to the transmission/engine.

What must be done to remove an alternator from a 2004 Kia Sedona? Does radiator have to be removed?

Yes, you'll need to remove the radiator. There are three bolts holding it on. 1 plug and 1 wire to a terminal with a 13 mm nut on it. It's a bear to get off. The only other way would involve removing the A/C compressor and removing the alternator from the bottom. I'm replacing a motor in a 2003 Sedona and it's tough!!!!

Change spark plug wires on 04 kia sedona

REMOVAL OF THE PLUGS:

Do not attempt any maintenance on spark plug if engine is hot.
1. Disconnect negative battery terminal.
2. Carefully remove high-tension leads.
3. Use compressed air to blow any dirt or debris from around spark plug hole.
4. Check that spark plug fits squarely in spark plug socket and remove spark plug.

Raise a vehicle and install SST(OK552 131 001) in order to replace cylinder 2, 4, 6 spark plug.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install spark plug into cylinder head.

Tightening torque : 18~22lb-ft (25~30N·m, 2.5~3.0kg-m)

2. Reconnect high-tension leads.
3. Reconnect negative battery cable.

Hope this helps and simple to understand. Good luck

Cannot locate the spark plugs in the 2004 Kia Sedona engine

First you have to take off the black plastic cover then you will see the 3 on the front of the engine the other 3 are under the manifold, you have to remove the manifold in order to reach them, I suggest you take the car to a mechanic for this work.
