My 2005 gran prix cruse control is stuck on and will not release when brake is applied

Could be a bad brake switch. Check and see if you have brake lights. You can pull codes from the BCM. Takes a scanner though.

Rear brake lights not working on 1998 Chevy Lumina

Well usually when the third brake light works and the others don't, the problem is in the turn signal switch. The center brake light is separate from the other two as far as circuits go.
The thing that puzzles me is the cruise. It could be something else, because the only way a faulty brake light switch would kill the cruise control is if the switch was stuck on.
I think I would check the circuits in and out of the turn signal switch.

MY 2002 ESCORT ZX2 BRAKE LIGHTS STAY ON,AT THE SAME TIME MY CRUSE CONTROLL STOPPED WORKED

These 2 symptoms indicate the brake switch above the brake pedal is shorted or stuck closed. Try unplugging the connector from the switch. If this resolves the problem, replace switch. Let us know if you have more questions.

Brake, charge, and rear tail lights warning lights stay on and then go off after a while. while they are on my cruse control will not work.

Your battery is not charging well. Probably the battery terminals are corroded. When you run the engine RPMs up high, the voltage goes up, overcoming the resistance of the corrosion and charging the battery, which allows the circuits listed above to operate properly.
