Hi I have a Volvo c70 convertible year 2000..how do I reset SRS please

The Used 2003 Volvo C70 Convertible comes with front wheel drive. Available transmissions include: 5-speed automatic, 5-speed manual.

Transmission Code P1618 Torque Converter Switch in the Valve Body is Bad.
p0602 Control module internal fault

There is no reset button on a C70 Volvo, or any other Volvo for that matter.

#1 Plug is the one closest to the Timing Belt on the Passenger Side end of the Engine.

Diagnose the SRS System & find & fix the problem,
it may have

No Resetting,it's a motor vehicle,you have to get that
resetting stuff out of your head & learn your vehicles
technology

Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles

Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat
(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.

I DO NOT recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).

Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.
