How to change out wiper motor 2003 Seville - 2003 Cadillac Seville

If I am not mistaken, it is under the rear seat bottom cushion.

There is a relay in the under hood power distribution box , you mite check that !

Are you thinking the relay that controls the wiper motor ? The owners manual should have a section for fuses and relays. The wiper motor is controlled by a relay because of its higher current draw. It should be located in one of the fuse panel/blocks.

Try looking screwed into the radiator.

thats tricky it could be the switch or motor or it could be the ground negative for the motor try running a wire from mount bolt off of wiprt moter and grounding it to another bolt on frame or fire wall or negative to battery just ton eliminate the prob. of it being a simple ground before u replacce switch or motor

Remove the linkage from the wiper motor. Turn the wipers on then off. This will set the motor in the park position. Move the wipers by hand to there normal off position. Reinstall the linkage onto the wiper motor. The wipers should now park or stop in the correct position.

Test the connector to see if it has power with a multi-meter. Corrosion plays a big factor. But considering it is a 2003 I'd probably say it is the motor considering you changed the fuse.

wiper relay or have you checked the wiper control on the turn-signal stick yet

Remove the outer wiper arm. Remove inner tailgate coverings. Disconnect wiper electrical connector and retaining bolts to remove. Installation is reverse of removal
