SOURCE: I can't open the gas door on my chevy aveo.

To open the fuel filler door, pull up on the release lever with a gas pump symbol on it. It is located on the floor on the left side of the driver's seat.

Please leave feedback if this helped. Thanks!

SOURCE: Need serpentine belt diagram for

One doesn't need a serpentine belt diagram to thread a new belt to the pulleys.

Just note which pulleys are smooth and which have grooves in them, and 'thread' the belt loosely around the pulleys in a fashion where the smooth part articulates with the smooth part, and the grooved inner part articulates with the grooved part.

Do this until the last pulley is the tensioner pulley, which can have its tension released with a breaker bar.

Probably a bad belt tensioner, or a bad bearing on one of the components the serpentine belt turns.

Replacing the serpentine belt

On a vehicle with a serpentine belt system there is always a tensioner pulley. Usually in the center of the routing network, you need to place the correct size wrench on it and push or pull with one hand releasing the tension on the belt. With the tension released, use the other hand and slip the belt out.
Most vehicles have a sticker in the engine compartment for replacing the belt to be sure it is put back in correctly. If not, be sure you look at the routing and or draw a picture so that it is replaced the same.
