The O2 sensor you speak of is on the right (passenger) side. You'll have one before (up stream) and one after (down stream) the converter on each side. On Ford products, the right side of engine is bank one with cylinders 1, 2, & 3. Left side, cylinders 4, 5, & 6.

Hope this helps
Bank two are the even cylinders. Follow exhaust manifold on the side. You will find an O2 sensor just after or on the manifold, before the catalytic converter. Then, look after the catalytic and you should find another O2 sensor, this is the one you mention in your post.

Both sensors after the catalytic converter are sensor 2. Cylinders, 1,3,5 are bank one and 2,4,6 are bank two

which back which sensor, upstream or downstream
The sensors before the converters are sensors #1 or up stream. After converters are sensors #2 or down stream.
