Check the fuel pressure under a load first, if it is ok then try unplugging the Mass airflow sensor (MAF), if the engine runs ok (check engine light will come on) then the MAF is most likely defective.

Hyundai santa fe 2.7 petrol engine light not coming on when cranking engine no spark and no fuel injection please fault find

WHY POST 3 TIMES ONE CAR, ????
LEARN TO ADD TO FIRST OF YOUR 3 POSTS.
AND CLICK COMMENTS TO IT OR EDIT IT.
YOU FAIL TO KNOW 3 THINGS ON DOHC ENGINES.
1; SPARK DEAD ,CUTS FUEL BY LAW. (AND PCM LOGIC HARD)
2: NO THE SENSOR IS GOOD, THE CAM BELT SLIPPED
AND NOT CKP AND CMP TIMING ARE WAY WAY WAY OFF./
3:SO THE PCM SEES THAT "bad"AND CUTS SPARK THEN FUEL IN 1 SECOND FLAT.

no, THIS ENGINE,
G6BA or 2.7 D engine belongs to Hyundai Delta engine family
IS AN INTERFERENCE ENGINE, GEE ALL HYUNDAI ARE.
THE 60K MILE LIFE SPAN CAM DRIVE BELT IS BAD.
AND MOST TIMES THE HEAD VALVES ARE NO BENT OVER
24 VALVES AND LOTS TO BEND.
PUT THE CAR KEYS IN YOUR POCKET AND NOT BEND MORE
INSPECT THE CAM BELT. NOW. DO NOT MAKE IT WORSE.

I GUESS YOU HAVE A SHOP, AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND DOHC ENGINE, NOR WHAT INTERFERENCE MEANS.
YOU WILL SOON LEARN. THE HARD WAY AND IS SAD.(FACE)

THE FIRST ACT ON DOHC
IS INSPECT THE CAM DRIVE BELT AND TIMING
OR WORSE IT GETS.

Engine cut out going around corner, whilst my wife was driving. Brand new Hyundai i30 (Melbourne - Australia). Mechanic said it was a safety feature for Diesel i30's....? He said that if you accidently...

They are all over the place on the cause of this. There are some that have debris in the fuel tank, loose fuel pump, bad electric connections bad yaw sensor, bad ecm etc. IT IS NOT A SAFETY FEATURE. Try the ESC off and see if that helps.

My hyundai 1.6 petrol matrix has intermittant

answer from the uk.you will only have a problem showing up if the engine management system records a fault within that system, so, the only solution is, if you have remote locking, change the batteries and use to unlock car not using the key.or if no remotes, change keys on a regular basis.(they are coded to the car) do not use grey (service key) only 2 x black keys supplied with car....check handbook re keys....

Ringing under hard accel between 3600-4200rpms on 1986 MR2???

It could be engine detonation or knock. If so it is terribly damaging to the engine and must be totally avoided. Try using premium unleaded petrol for a trial, Or add some "ignition control additive" or ad some Methyl Benzene to the fuel. The anti knock sensor should control this but not all cars had these, or yours may have failed.

This should be under warranty. Tires should last longer than that. You didn't question why you had to pay?
And no front wheel drive does not have any "known" design issues.

DOES THE ENGINE MIL WARNING LIGHT COME ON? WITH OUT MORE INFO YOU NEED TO CHECK MOTOR ON A CODE READER FOR STORED FAULTS, CHECK ALL AIR LINES TO EMMISION CONTROL, , SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE GONE INTO SAFE MODE, A SPLIT OR LEAKING PIPE ON THE INTERCOOLER IS A COMON FAULT ON THESE, IF YOU SWITCH ENGINE OF AND BACK ON QUICKLY WITH MOTOR RUNNING WITH OUT STALLING MOTOR AND IT CLEARS THEN IT IS PROBERLY THE SAFE MODE CUTING IN MEANING A FAULT HAS BEEN SEEN BY PCM

Interesting problem.. since not US spec. Is there a 'remote keyless (fob)' programmed for this vehicle? That's the only way to DE-arm the immobilizer (anti-theft) feature (based on US specs). Unless you have this key fob (keyless entry remote... which must also be programmed for this vehicle), the only other way is wait 5 minutes with the existing key in the ignition, then it should start (US specs). You will still need to have an 'ACTIVE' keyless remote programmed for this vehicle... otherwise, you'll continue to run into this problem.
