Your car is in need of a fuel pump,and a filter ,they are both in the fuel tank.

Ok, you might want to check your PCV valve, and the tube that runs along with it, because if it has a crack in it, or if the pcv valve is clogged up, alot of times the car will have a chugg when starting....And the Idle will be rough....Um sorry you lost all that money, but sometimes problems are small, but it may seem big..If the scanner is not picking up any codes, its either because your computer is not sending them out,,,( could be a blown ECM fuse) so check them all, Or its a mechanical problem, and not an electrical problem...But double check all your fuses, and that pcv valve, and the tube...Goodluck

to reset the computer simply unplug the battery for about 30 minutes.

However, you have a different problem I believe. you need to check your plugs and wires/coil packs. A fouled spark plug will cause rough running at any speed.

Sounds like a faulty fuel pump. Next time it doesn't start have someone listen with their head right above the gas tank. When you turn the key to "on" pos, without trying to turn it over, they should be able to hear the pump spin.

Replace the camshaft sensor, the issue will go away.
