And they are all harnessed to the turn signal control? You have a dead short in the turn, flash, brake system. Work each one seperately until you isoolate the shorted circuit. Do not use the brake. put in a new fuse and turn on the left turn, wait, If fuse didn't blow, turn on thethe right turn signal, wait, if the fuse didn't blow, turn on your 4 way flashers and wait. If fuse has not blown, get the wife and have her step on the brake while you watch the third brake light and the othe two. That you are watching for is one of the three being dimmer than the others. Here is a tip, Remove the brake light switch and operate it manuallt so you cand detect whether the swith is causing yor short or not.Ipping the fuse ampereage will create a serious fire condition, so do not exceed the original size fuse. Are you towing with this vehicle? If so, what are you towing?

I have a 2003 envoy XL, I have replaced. the break switch & the turn signal switch, & 1 curcit board & I have power to the inside fuse box, and tail lights&turn signals work. but no brakes?

Power to the brake lights flows from Fuse 12 in the underhood fuse box to the brake light switch. Check for power at the switch on the orange wire. Power leaves the brake light switch on the white wire and heads rear fuse box under the left rear seat. Power goes to fuse 34 Vehicle stop fuse 15A. From there it goes to the left and right stop bulb connectors on the light blue wires. If you don't have power on the light blue wires, you've got a bad fuse or an open somwhere. Two fuses in the stop light cirucit.

No break lights , replaced the break pedal switch , the tail light circuit boards and all bulbs , still no lights . and stop/haz fuse pops immediately when I youch the break ..... at a loss

You have a dead short and it could be any where from the front to the back of the car. It could be where a wire has a rubbed place in it or in the tail light assembly itself. According to what kind of vehicle it is it could be the multifunction switch. That is the most common cause

HELP!!!! Toyota paseo 93. When I got the used car the dash cluster lights/ tail lights/ lic plate light didn't work. I checked and changed the fuses in car/ under hood. I checked and changed the tail...

Those are your marker lights. They come on when you turn your lights on halfway. I would suspect your light switch was overheating and melted the harness behind it and shorted 2 wires.

Why does fuse # 25 keep blowing out on my Chrysler pacifica 2004

Fuses pop because it is breaking the direct line of voltage that is being selected...anotherwords...instead of when you turn on your radio and the incorrect amount of voltage that is being sent to the radio frys it, the fuse breaks/pops to stop the flow of voltage to the radio.

The problem seems to either be a bad relay or wires are touching somewhere in that system.

I have a 2004 jeep liberty my turning signal fuse keeps burning out, but my hazard lights work. Once my fuse burns out, I have no left or right turning signals.

a wire has to be shorting out the fuse, check all wires and make sure no metal is showing or frayed. If so wrap the wire that is showing with electrical tape to make sure no metal is touching any other wire, this would cause the short, and would pop the fuse. You may want to try a fuse with a higher breaking point as well, i.e. a 20 amp fuse.

2005 ford five hundred , passenger mirror fried, electical smell

Sometimes your car insurance will pay for this as a fire claim. You do not have to fix it yourself. My Olds lit up the dash, the insurance covered it and a Rental.

As for the 4 fuses there may be a fusible link to power these. Also since most are only required when the engine is running, they may be dead until the ignition is turned on.

No dash lights and no tail lights

Check for faulty wires at the fuse block, had one fall off from the block itself from the rear, or it could be a wire break somewhere along the way.

Stop Lights and Blinkers are independant fuse.

Tail lights are on there own fuse and could be a wire break in the rear or removing the bulb and using a metre check for signal at bulb socket where trouble is, Check for disolored connections, Green in color or simular, could be a bad connection which in turn is not letting the curent to other side, Causing a short and loss of power to all remaining lights in curcuit.
