How to change fog light relay on 2006 tundra - 2006 Toyota Tundra

Most relay's have the diagram printed on them. Make sure you are getting power to the signal post to close the relay. If not, make sure you have power going in and coming out of the switch. If your switch is operating properly, but there is no signal power getting to the relay, your issue is somewhere between the two. Also, check for proper ground at the relay and the lamps.

have you checked the tow tail light fuse or the tow tail light relay?

If it was not equiped with fog lights from the factory it will not be there, Make shure you use a relay on them, Plus a inline fuse on the postive wire going to the switch for them, From the positive terminal on the switch just run the wre to the fuse block, If you dont use a relay on them you can overload the circut, end do a lot of damage to the circut ,

Try to wire them straight to 12v to rule out anything with the lights themselves. You've tested with a meter to the leads at the light with them switched on?

i suspect the stalk switch is faulty but i would need to test it first with my multimeter first before i changed it .so get you meter and check it out first

There is a circular cover surrounding the fog light assembly that simply pops off. Behind that cover there are three maybe four torx style screw that need to be removed, then simply just disconnect the electrical connector to the fog light assembly.

I had the same problem. They need to change the whole shift indicator assembly. Had mine fixed inn 30 minutes

check fuse 19 in the fuse blocks under the hood...there is also a relay for the fog lights
