What is the rubber hose coming off the side of the transmission dipstick tube on a 1993 Ford Probe 4 cylinder?

SOURCE: 1993 Ford Probe needs motor mounts

is the model with the V6 mazda motor, if so it can be a bit difficult if you have little mechanical experience, but it is doable without removing the motor or transmission. we would allow 3 hours to complete the whole job.

SOURCE: replacing front driver side (F150) brake line (rubber hose)

Brake fluid is highly corrosive. If you can't get the line loose on the frame side then I would suggest replacing the hard line as well coming from the master cylinder. Or if you have a flaring tool you could cut the hard line just behind the rubber and put a new fitting on it. Pretty easy if you have the tool. Essentially you will wind up kinking or breaking the hard line anyway if the fitting won't come loose easy.

SOURCE: Want to replace fron in 93 ford probe

1993 is a split year, if you have charging ports are a little bigger than the size of a tire valve stem then u have R12, if they are big then you have R134, most all Ford in 93 use R12. In the picture are adapters for a retrofit to R134, these screw on an R12 port, note the large cap R134 cap on the end of the adapter.

SOURCE: 94' Ford Probe Automatic Transmission fluid check question

The car needs to be running with the transmission warm, (drive around for at least 10 minutes) Place the car in neutral. Pull the stick wipe it off and place it back in the transmission. Reads just like an oil stick, want fluid in the safe range (checked pattern) area.

Where is egrpressurefeedback sensor located on a 1999 ford ranger 2.5l

I believe it's on the right hand side near tranny dipstick. .simple thing to do is follow the egr steel exhaust tube from the back of the motor, the D.P.F.E will be off of that tube connected with 2 black rubber hoses and have a single electric connection.

Where is transmission vent tube for 1996 chevy K1500 - suspect it is clogged but cant find it

vent from trans comes out of trans on the passenger side of the trans.it is located about 1/3 the way back on top of the trans.a rubber hose will be attached and usually connects with the transfer case vent hose.If the trans overheated chances are there is a problem with the transmission.if the fluid smells burnt you have bigger issues.

Where do u check the level

Levels:
Transmission fluid level:
The transmission dipstick tube looks like a slightly large oil dispstick tube. It is located near the firewall on the drivers side.
Set parking /emergency brake.
With engine warm and running, pull dipstick and clean off with rag. Insert disptick and pull out. Check fluid level.
To add transmission fluid, use the same dipstick tube and a kitchen funnel (good time to purchase a new funnel for the kitchen). Auto stores also sell "special" funnels with a short rubber hose attached to the end.
Not all transmission fluid is the same. Purchase only the one made for your vehicle (Volvo?)
I hope it was the transmission fluid level that you needed.

Firing order

for the 1993 probe i could only find a 2.5 V6. there are two banks of cylinders, odd and even. in other words as you stand in front of the vehicle the odd bank is toward the firewall, the even bank is closest to you.
the number one cylinder is on the passenger side toward the firewall and firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. hope that helps
