SOURCE: How do I change out headlight bulb on 91 olds cutlass cierra

Behind the headlight, you should see the nylon bulb holder. Turn it counter clockwise, about a 1/4 turn, and it should come out. Pull the old bulb straight out, and replace it with the new one. Don't touch the glass part of the new bulb with bare fingers, or you'll be replacing it again. Use cotton gloves or a paper towel. Put the holder back in the headlight, turn it clockwise until it locks.

SOURCE: Serious Oil leak while running

The oil pressure sensor is likely leaking. The tops of them break off due to the heat from the exhaust manifold. Luckily its on the front so the exhaust manifold isnt that hard to loosen up so that you can get in there to replace the sensor. I would fix this ASAP as it is a serious fire hazard.

SOURCE: Where is the oil sending unit on a 95 olds delta

The OPSU (Oil Pressure Sending Unit) could be located in two different places, the most common location being on the top rear of the engine block along the rear valley ridge, just behind the intake manifold and next to the distributor. The other location would be on the side of the engine block just above the oil filter housing.

You would need to remove the instrument cluster to get to the back side where the bulbs are.

1994 olds cutlass cierra sedan with 125,000 mileage, service engine soon light came on, what's wrong?

Scan the computer for trouble codes. Use an OBD 1 scanner or code reader. The light having come on means there is a stored code or codes to direct you or a technician to the problem sensor or circuit.

actually the dang thing is bolted to the underside of the control module beneath the two coil packs - it all comes out as one unit and the sensor inserts into the engine block - it is invisible until you remove the coilpack/control module unit

Location of the temperature sending unit on a 1991 olds toronado

Ok, you have three sensors on this engine that work together to manage the temperature reading that are sent to the gauge. i recommend checking all three to be safe. i will list the sensors and, locations below.

1. Coolant temperature sensor- Under hood, driver side, upper engine area, above transmission bell housing, mounted in driver side end of intake manifold.

2. Engine Temperature sensor- Under hood, driver side, upper engine area, mounted on rear cylinder head

3. Temperature switch.- Under hood, center, lower engine area, above oil filter, rear of coolant temperature sensor, mounted in engine block
