Why did you change the MAP sensor? Was there a DTC code indicating problems? Do you still have the same code? Have you reset the codes (if that was the only code displayed)? Why did you change the battery?
If your check engine light is on, please provide the DTC code and a brief history of the problem and what you have done to resolve it.

Testimonial: "My battery was dead, so I got a new one. After the battery was changed my check engine light was on, so I took it to get a code reading and was told my MAP sensor was bad, got it changed and the light came back on. Mechanic said he reset the sensors"

If the light came back on after he reset the sensors, the code needs to be checked again. If it's the same code, then the mechanic did not troubleshoot the problem correctly the first time. Depending on the code, there is more than one thing that can trigger the code. If it's a code for the MAP, then the wiring and connections should have been checked to verify they're OK before the sensor got changed. ESPECIALLY, since there was no problem until the battery was changed. Good luck!

2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. Why does my tire Icon light stay on?

Hi Joe

Funny i read about this this morning. As the weather cools, these light up. That is a tire pressure monitor warning. They have an internal battery and eventually they wear out. Apparently you can replace the battery, you have to replace the whole unit inside the tire. It is part of, and behind the valve stem.

Or, they may just need air. Tire guys often just guess the pressure instead of referring to the sticker on the door frame, the manual or AllData.

This problem with my check engine light on my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe is it a problem to drive it?

IF the light is on you should go to a place like autozone and have them read the codes to see what the issue is. They do it for free. If the light is not flashing, you can drive it but you should not. If the light is flashing you should not drive it at all.

My Hyundai SantaFe 2010 check engine light came on?? anyone know why?

the PCM has detected a problem in the cars system and has turned on the check engine light so you will get it checked out. there will be a code set in it that will give you a place to start to find the problem.
