I have a BMW 2004 3.0 X5. I have slow feedback when I step on the gas to speed up and my engine is misfiring. I what else would be the problem?

Clean Throttle Body and MAF. If that doesn't work, you need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.

When ever I tow my camp trailer my BMW X5 drops down in to limp home mode. This happens offen when towing up a hill. The camper is under the towing capacity by over 1000kg.

Never tow in over drive, Never tow with the accelerator more than Half way to the floor, when shifting Keep the RPMS between 2000-3000 and Drive slow in the next lower gear than what the car selects.

Mitsubishi triton mn

it may require a ECM upgrade in the software
in the mean time restrict the rpms between gear changes
for example accelerate in first ti around 3000 rpms and slow down the selection and keep the rest of the changes around the 2500-3000 rpm range
naturally , the harder yo rev it the longer it will take for the rpms to drop
just as a point of interest how did you get a brand new car that is 4 years old ?

My 2005 X5 4.40I this briefly displayed something like "Hillshare Program" on the dashboard this morning, next thing I know the car started drivinig slow and will not go to a higher gear. Running on h

You've a faulty EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation)valve problem. It has to do with emission control and you will not get enough power to achieve speed for trans shift higher when the EGR is bad. Replace the EGR and all will be well.

My bmw x5 2006 model shakes when ideling

How can you say there is no loss of power when the car is not moving? You do have loss of power. What you have is a missfire in on of the cylinder. Diagnose the car and rectify. You could have injector or power problems.

Bmw x5 2003 03reg diesel onboard computer says fuel inject.system when i acceleration is all the way down then is not driving same like before i have to stop and start ingine to come back to normal .

Hi

I am presumming this is a diesel? please confirm.

It sounds like an EGR fault, exhaust gas recycler valve, this will make the car lose a lot of power and cause the engine light. Normally will not rev over 3-4k rpm with the light on.

My BMW X5 suddenly lost power, had no acceleration and seemed to go into limp mode? Has only done approx 55,000 miles. No warning lights came on, no smoke, just loss of power. Any ideas?

could be a side light bulb or a seat belt ,sorry but here in europe this vehicle uses encrypted software so it would be back to the dealer ,now in america with its famous freedom of information act ??? but i honestly wouldnt know as it could be anything that can cause this
