Why am I not getting power to a certain slot in my fuse box for a 2002 dodge ram 1500

If there was an existing fuse in it, but blown, look in the fuse block under the hood for another blown fuse. If there was never a fuse in there to begin with, the slot was there for an option that your truck didn't come with from the factory. If this is the case, take a flashlight and look into that slot and you probably won't find one or both of the female spade connector(s) in there to plug a fuse into. Good luck.

2005 mercury mountaineer where is my power window dues box

dues box ? do you mean fuse box . There are fuses for the power windows in the under hood fuse / relay box ! F1.62 30amp fuse an there is a relay in the CJB - central junction block ,located under the driver side dash panel . Accessory delay relay , first one top left in the fuse box. That's a good place to start ! what if fuse an relay are good ? then what ? do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Do any of your windows work ? The best place to start is the drivers door window switch ! All power to all windows come through that switch .The lite blue with black stripe wire is power wire at the switch !

What would cause flasher fuse slot to not have power on 1996 buick regal?

If It is not blinking then it's probably a blown bulb, That's how cars tell you a turn signal is bad. You will only have power to fuse slot when turn signal is on and the blinking part runs through a flasher relay so you could have a bad flasher relay if the bulbs are all good.

Had the dealer swap out the 20A fuse for the lighter, but they broke the fuse box slot in the process (didn't realize it right away). We've had it "fixed" several times, which means bending the...

If the dealer broke the slot take it back to them as they are responsible for the repair. Other than that if you can get the fuse box loose and have enough room to get in behind it it shouldn't be difficult to reroute the wires to an empty slot.

Friend jumped 97 lexus 400 now power seat, windows, and the dash lights won't work...

Check fuses for whatever doesn't work. Fuse box location and diagram should be in you owners manual. Make certain to note amps of EACH fuse and don't mix them up. The fuse that goes in MUST agree in amps with what fuse came out for each slot. Amps for each fuse should be stamped on fuse box next to each slot.

I have a 2000 Ford Windstar. I recently installed a radio, it wouldn't work, then discovered that the yellow wire has no power. I wired it to the red, so at least the radio works, but it won't hold memory,...

i believe it is a standard 15 fuse that goes in it it but it has a plastic piece that allows you to be able to insert the prongs into the recessed area look inside the #6 slot you should be able to see where the two prongs of the fuse insert.

Binding when making tight turns

duty solenoid that controls transfer clutches may be at fault, check the obvious first starting with level and condition of trans fluid if its ok make sure all tire sizes are correct and same, different tire sizes can cause binding in turns, all tires need to same circumfrence,if this is ok there is a empty fuse slot i believe in fuse box under the hood, place fuse in slot marked FWD,by putting a 15amp fuse in this slot it forces trans into front wheel drive a warning light on the dash will illuminate FWD,drive the car in your culdesac and hpefully binding wont occur signaling a problem with your transfer case either the clutches or that duty solenoid, the check engine lamp is probably not related to this concern good luck!

My key less entry remote doesnt unlock or lock my car, my dome lights dont work, and my radio doesnt turn on, but the car runs fine

It would appear the fuses have blown for each unit. Pull the fuse box cover and look at the lid. It will tell you the slot for each component that requires a fuse, of which you will see radio and keyless entry. Pull the fuses using the fuse tool that is on the door and check to see if the fuse has a burn mark in the middle of it. If so, take it to any autoparts store and get replacements for those that are burnt and place them in the correct slots in the fuse box. DO NOT DO THIS WITH THE KEY ON AND IS BEST DONE WITH THE BATTERY DISCONNECTED. If you are not comfortable doing this on your own, take the car to any garage and they should only charge you about $10.00 to fix the problem.
