Steering diagram? There isn't too much to it, you have the steering wheel connected to the steering column, the column connected to the rack n pinion, the rack is connected to the inner then outer tie rods, and the outer tie rods are connected to the steering knuckles. The power steering pump has a high pressure and a return line connecting it to the rack n pinion.
did you over fill it ?? does the pump whine at all if you over fill them the can mess up the pump by building up pressure and being over filled thers no where for the excess to go and bam pump may freeze up and have to be replaced and sometimes you can drain the excess and be ok
Probably front wheel drive so it could be A strut needs replacing or tie rods or control arm bushings they are all major repairs unless you know a good cheap mechanic
try checking your bearings on both sides. as for your brakes when you change your rotors try changing both of them as well as your pads. i had the same problems and that fixed it. if it persists i would look at your ball joints and then your calipers. good luck.
