Eventually a civil was under way because of slavery and other issues.
Abraham Lincoln and the Republican party used this opportunity to end slavery.
America had slaves but it did not start slavery! America ended it!

Sounds like air in the slave cylinder ! Bleed and see how that works out .

follow the line down from the clutch master cylinder and you will come to the slave cylinder . The bleed nipple will be at the highest point

There is an access opening in the bell housing, for the internally mounted slave, for the bleed port.

sounds like needs some oil down in to lock its getting dry i had this u will find it works 3 in 1 oil will do also push key in and turn it on an of to loosen up lock a few times, trans is it auto or manuial, if auto probably tick over is to high shud b about 750-800 rpm but set till it just holds car steady no creeping back or forward, manclutch adjust ment worn slave cylinder or peadle adjustment good luck hope this helps

i have never seen a lincoln l.s. with a manual transmission. are you sure of the description of the problem

P1401 is an EGR fault code: Differential Pressure Feedback EGR Circuit High Input. This can be caused by several things. EGR Valve is bad, Flow through the valve is restricted due to carbon build-up. Electrical connector OR wiring is damaged somewhere. Check the wiring and the connector at the EGR valve if no damage is found then replace the EGR valve and clean the port holes in the engine and the EGR tube that's running to the valve "IF IT HAS ONE". Clear the codes and drive it and see what happens. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Abe.
