My mechanic replaced my front struts with an after market strut with out the CAT system wires and plugs and now I get the CAT system failure light. The struts work great how do I remove the code since nothing is wrong.
You need to put resistors in the connectors to the old units to mimic the circuit resistance, I am sorry but don't know what value/ohms they should be. Try joining a Jag owners forum and asking there

Mechanic should have offered the options of OE replacements versus the cheaper sort and explained the difference and consequences.
If the original Computer Active Technology suspension struts contain simple motor units with two wires it might be possible to fool the management system with resistors but active technology usually includes additional circuits for feedback, without which the system could not be truly active and make constant adjustments.
I know very little about such things but I speculate you will either have to put up with the fault light or find a genius with a laptop and suitable software to switch the system off or fit proper CATs struts.
If your car still has a significant value fitting the non-CATs struts has probably reduced the resale value by quite a bit.
