What type of engine oil should i use to topup my honda crv '05

Honda usually recommends 5w-20 oil, but if it has over 80,000 miles I usually use 5w-30. You should top off with whatever kind of oil was used at the last oil change (top regular oil with regular, synthetic with synthetic, etc...)

What needs to be done at 100,000km service for Honda crv 1999

What I would do, if you haven't, yet is do a total tune up. Change the oil, oil filter, PCV valve, air filter, spark plugs and spark plug wires, timing belt, distributor, and recently I heard that adjusting the valves at that (100,000) point will also prolong the engines life, the timing belt and valve adjustments seem to be the hardest to do. This is what i did to my 1999 honda cr-v except the valve adjustment, Im not good enough to mess with that on my own. Doing it myself turned out pretty cheap, and easy, just time consuming. good luck!

Honda-crv 2008, When to change the oil.

Honda say thats not true and to wait until the car tells you when to change it. I have a 2008 CRV and you should and can wait till the oil say 15%! We took ours in after a long road trip for our first oil change. We had over 5K and the oil said 65%. The guy said that we did not need to bring it in. We still had change it while it was their but the car goes around 8-9 K on a oil change. A little wrench will come on and the oil life % will come on when it reach15% and will come on every time you start the car till you get it changed.

Radio code for Honda CRV 1999

If the radio has not been changed in the past, then I am almost certain that your local Honda dealaship can help but as always they may charge you. There are auto centres that are equipt to change the radio code and they do charge.
