HOW DO YOU RESET THE TPS SENSOR ON A 02 RODEO AFTER YOU RELPACE IT WITH A NEW ONE

Scanner if not battery off 5 min.

Wow,no engine stated or if its the SPORT model.

why not say why you think it needs resetting?
"that didnt work", well what did it not do that you expected
not ONE WORD on expectations./ zero.
like pulling teeth.
no symptoms stated, or reason doing this.... sad.

there are only 4 ways on all cars.MADE (a generic answer )
Ive done them all so know them...
1: JUST put it on and and PCM learns it. (BINGO)
2: put in it and set it to 0.5v. (throttle angle voltage , idle)
3: put it and and set trip point , with feelers. (1988'ish like)
4: takes factory scan tool to set it. (bad news, if true)
each car is different. each EFI system. each engine, and year generations (and laws)

now ill do your job and look it up at mitchells.
usa cars only. (I dont do Holden cars down under)

the 2.2L book says put it in , done.
3.2L same. words
3.5L whole throttle body is changed to get new TPS and same words, bolts on , no adjustments.

so now, be the time to fess up an tell the full story
my wild guess, is car runs bad,. some dweeb on the net said
put in new TPS? in most cases they are all wrong.
and you did and not better running.?
