It needs to have a diagnostic tool hooked up and fult Codes read after this the technicians can fix fult and clear code this will turn light off
codes are logged when a problem occurs within the engine management system this turns the warning light on.

if its a sensor hook the jeep up to the computer and it will give you the fult coads its easy to fix it with them,,,,and you will be saving money,, if you just hook up a new sensor the computer will still see the old fult coad and may still not let the engine run right, so your running around in rings or nothing,,,get the coads read,

fuel pump and check the transmission as well

this sounds like its the car's CPU playing up,,,if there is a fult coad it can put you in "get you home mode" the car will still run but very very badly check out the fult coads

its an ignishion fult its back fireing on you, and may split the exhaust pipe if you dont sort it out it wont do the "cat" any good as well
