Location of VIN / chassis number on a 94 Ford Aerostar???

notify dealer for location of security vin ----and need to notify local authority about missing vin so a replacement can be ordered and will need to have shop explain how and why removed

The two most likely locations will be on the floor between the door and the front seat, usually on the drivers side. there will be a little flap in the carpet hiding it. The other location is under the bonnet. Look at the back corner of the engine bay where the suspension strut bolts to the front of the car. the number should be stamped around the centre hole. (See photo).
There should also be a small 'VIN' plate riveted to the rear panel of the engine with all your vehicle information.

The engine and chassis would have separate serial numbers.

vin numbers can be found on the windscreen , fire wall , inner guards ,chassis rails . They are placed in many positions to help identify parts from a stolen vehicle.. Your hand book will have the locations explained

there are 2 ,, if you have your vin number , you can find what they look like on this link, http://www.nextag.com/serv/main/buyer/OutPDir.jsp?search=ford+EGR+valves+ford+aerostar+3.0 normally they are located on the exhaust side of the motor, but some are mounted off the exhaust and have a metal tube running to them, I don't know that Motor that well and have loaned out my manual for that motor, if you can't find it let me know, and I'll research it more for you good Luck

Location
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate is stamped on a plate attached to the bonnet locking platform. The VIN is also stamped in the following locations:
1) On a plate behind the LH lower corner of the windscreen.
2) On the chassis RH longitudinal behind the rear wheel.
