Is the check engine light on while the engine is running ? If it is I would start there for clues. If not, the list of possibilities is long. You should check the fuel pressure and probably the throttle position sensor resistance. It could have a vac leak too.
I had just the same problems with my 93- Park Avenue. The mecanic man found leaks on the supply hoses from the compressor and repleced the hoses. Easy job. I have resently replaced my struts and that helpt even more.
One of the door pin switches is faulty, Interior light must be staying on and draining the battery. If you don't see the dome light staying on possibly the trunk switch is bad.
I just posted my experience in another place on this site but on my 1992 PA the accessories relay stuck closed. This relay is the one that allows you to listen to the radio etc and keep things on until you open the door then all shuts off. When it is stuck closed accessories keep running until your battery drains dead. The relay was replaced and all worked great.
