You need to use a heavy duty 15W40 oil, or sythetic 5w40 which is excellent for cold climates.

WHAT KIND OF OIL FOR 2001 chrysler CONCORDE?

Hello,

The manufacture suggests SAE 5W-30 oil. Either petroleum based or sythetic. With this age of vehicle I would reccomend petro-based oil. If it has'nt had any oil leaks in the past syntehic would be fine. I choose to use a good quality oil such as, Castrol brand.

What type of oil for this model?

Always use full sythetic. Yeah is cost more. But I feel it is worth it. 10/40 will be adequate. With later models I always add a bottle of Lucas oil treatment. Don't forget your filter.

2000 jeep wrangler are sythetic lubes used in axils and trans

Hello grega1967, your Jeep Wrangler came from the factory with gear oil in the axles and manual transmission, but the transfer case uses transmission fluid. It is a NP231 and your axles are Dana 30 in the front and Dana 35 in the rear. They should have a 4.10 gear ratio due to you having a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder.

I hope this helps,

What maintenance to get at 50000

Change air filter, plugs and wires, and if you wanted you could change to sythetic oil, sythetic is smoother therefore easier on your engine. once you switch you cannot to back or mix the oils.
