Specifically Ford And Lincoln/Mercury... On FIRESTONE tires were
littered with SUVs being Flipped
To their credit Ford Motors responded with the INERTIAL
switches
No other vehicles that I know responded nothing to cancel function

Not sure what engine you have... but the power to the fuel pump "circuit is divinely simple... It runs thru the "power module" where the wanna be "code reading" takes place...
Its a straight 12 power thru a single relay... If you DISCONNECT the POWER MODULE and get the fuel pressure back with a jumper wire... You will at least know you are MECHANICALLY GOOD.

Fuel system has 7 drawings (I assumed 5.9 engine... for conversation ... FI (fuel injection) it really makes no difference).
Look on rockauto.com for that SPARE FI relay you always wanted (in PDC).
