We can't know this.. Most of us know what the part is when we see it on the vehicle. pa66 is an after market part. Manufacturers number are longer and say GM on them. If it electrical, what happens when you unplug it.. Or what the problem now?
Its not really a plug. It has like 6 to 10 what looks like ground wires going into it from under the dasb looks like the two grounds from the brown bcm connecter grounds for stuff in the center console but i have the code of ground short from bcm and im wondering if that little black and lime green connecter is rhe reason why
I hav a pic of it on my only other question.
Most likely it is. This is a ground plug. Mounted to the body. Take it off, unplug it. If there is corrosion( white to greenish color), With your older year. I cut it out. Cut the wires, solder them together with a eyelet and rebolt it to the body. This is a fix more times than not. You need to check the battery to body ground and the engine to body ground also.
Thank you i will try in the morning and post the results.

well try this it would make you laugh if this work check your floor brake pull up on it all the way and see if it comes on when the park brake is on they turn the lights off and if there not up all the way it will keep it from coming back on. hope that works for ya.
