Just replaced the fuel pump in my 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 4 wheel drive. It now starts, but won't stay running when idling. Any ideas?

My 2000 Chevy Silverado starts and idles fine, but when you put it in gear and give it gas, it acts like it's going to run out of gas. It sputters and is sluggish. I've changed the TPS and it did not fix...

FIRST CHECK THE FUEL PRESSURE AT IDLE AND WHEN YOU TRY TO TAKE OFF.
CHANGED THE FUEL FILTER LATELY?

Having problems with 2002 chevy silverado 1500 won't stay running. cut out going down hiway then died will run a while then die is this the fuel pump

Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter first. If it was the fuel pump, and being electric. It would have not restarted again if the pump has gone bad. The fuel filter should be replaced every 1,500 miles or once a year to ensure that your fuel system is running 100% and will not burn out your fuel pump early due to extra heat generated from working harder then is should. Good luck and keep me posted.

You may have a bad fuel pump sock or you may have a plugged catilatic converter, does the truck take a long time to start after it stalls out?

1997 chevy silverado 1500 350 vortech, new fule pump not working

before you drop tank again, check fuses & relay.then disconnect fuel line @ filter turn key to on position should hear fuel pump run and get gas stream out of line. if no flow from line new pump faulty be sure & remove negative battery cable first good luck.

I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and a fuel pump relay and the fuel pump is still not coming on. I am not getting any fuel. Can you please tell me what it might be.

Also u may want to check the regualtor take to a mechanic and have him put i pressure guage and to make sure pump is pumping right amouth of psi. you could have broke some of the plastic on pump when putting in. If good psi then maybe relay or regulator under intake.

Check the fuel filter. if you take it off and blow through the end of it, air should come out the other side. if not, the fuel filter iss clogged. also you might wanna check the fuel pump relay/fuse. hopes this helps
