if it has no dipstick on the car anywhere it is what they call a world standard type tranny and will have to be done at a tranny shop or at dealer because the car has to be lifted in the air while running to check and ad fluid.
the fuse box is under the hood basically behind the battery but if the power windows are workng the fuse is good.you may have a wiring problem or a bad motor
once hot it presents this problem?..when fluid pressure is lowest is when it is hottest...can you service transmission with new filter and fluid and be sure all lines up to trans cooler at bottom of radiator are clear?
hi do the simple bits first check the fliud level in the box see if its a clear redish colour if any other colour you have a box problem second when was the last time you chaged the boxes oil and filter a blocked filter will cause your problem then the box itself first clutch could be slipping put the box in first gear chock your wheels up put the handbrake on put your foot on the brake pedal start the engine and rev with your other foot and see when the car stalls it should be around 2500 and 3000 revs if its higher than this the clutch is slipping on that gear after this you will need to take it for pressure testing yates210456
hi, its best you get this looked at soon as possible the chances are it could just be that you need the fluid topping up and will need checking for any leaks. The problem is if it gets to bad then replacing an auto box is very expensive and is hard to do so its best you get it looked at before it gets beyond repair. Taking it into a garage will be your best option as they will have a special tool for testing the pressure in the auto box and also the fluid level. If it has got to bad and cant be solved by fluid alone then the cheapest option would be to get a reconditioned box and getting this fitted as a new one will cost a fortune. Hope this is some help to you let me know how you get on or if you have any questions ok
