No clutch pedal

Did you try bleeding it?
The ones I am familiar with, the slave cylinder is bolted onto the side of the bell housing at the point where your clutch lever sticks out.

Why does clutch leak off and wont go into gear 96 toyota tacoma when you push on clutch pedal goes to the floor it wont engage clutch to be able to put into gear

the most likely reason is either the clutch master cyl. needs to be replaced.or the.slave cyl. its mounted down on the transmation under the hood find the resivore for the clutch. check the fluid level.if its low , fill it back up , and look for signs of a leak
you will probally have to bleed out all of the air from the system.its done almost the same way as bleeding the brakes. Good Luck.

I would like to know how to bleed the clutch on my 2006 F150. Have filled the clutch fluid but do not know where the release is to clear the line of air is.

newer ford trucks are a bear to bleed of air, your bleeder screw is on the line where it enters the transmission, or on the slave, you will see it close to where the line enters the trans.. best way to do it is fill the slave cylender, leave the cap off, and barely crack the bleeder, just so a drop comes out of it about every 20 seconds or so, and let it gravity bleed all night long, tighten it in the morning, and top it off.... like i said though they are tough to bleed, even if you have a helper.... if you do have a helper find the bleeder on the trans, have them pump the clutch about 10 or 12 times, have them hold against it, crack the bleeder, let the air/fluid out, retighten the bleeder, have them let off of the pedal and pump it up again.... tell them not to let off of the pedal until you tell them.. if they let off when your bleeder is open, it will **** air back in the system and you will need to start all over again... after pumping and bleeding 3 or 4 times, have your helper top off the slave cylender to be sure it dont go empty and draw more air in the system... bleed the system like that until you get a plain steady of fluid, and no air, and you should be good to go.. top it off and put the lid back on the slave... hope this helps more than it confuses you... it can be a little difficult to explain sometimes

1993 240 nissan clutch pedal acts like it has no fluid

Check if the slave cylinder is being activated by the operation of the master cylinder (also ensure no fluid leaks are present).
If slave cylinder not moved, you still have a faulty master cylinder or slave cylinder - or the hydraulic system still has air.

If the slave cylinder is operating normally and there is still no return pressure from the clutch pressure plate, you have a faulty pressure plate or throughout lever mechanism.

The clutch fluid pored out from under the trasmition and now the clutch goes all the way to the floor. The car is a 1997 Chevy Cavalier 5 speed transmition. No warning before this happened. Some people...

its the slave cylinder!
it will be on the side of the bellhousing
[thats the big bowl between the engine gearbox]
easyily replaced or may just need a rubber kit & rebleed the system
Dont forget to re adjust the travel after bleeding

Car shifts when not running, however once started gears won't shift....

Clutch isn't being released when pedel is pressed in. you need to either bleed the clutch, or adjust the clutch. You may have a pitted slave cylender. this means that fluid is passing around the piston in the slave cylender. if so you need to rebuild or replace the slave cylender. there may be other reasons too but these are some of the most common reasons
