My mercedes e430 2000 windows & mirrore suddenly do not work. checked all fuses under hood, back seat all good. dont know what to do next also disconnected battery

Check for broken ground wire in driver door harness

The harness can be repaired with out removing. Splice a new wire in.

Probably a short in wiring. Vibration are causing contact to go on and off, check circuit and connectors with a tester.

try running a fault scanner to reset the CPU program in the ECM

I think you are the victim of an otherwise good idea; theft protection that has disabled the electrical system.

Most of the time (90%) it the fuse. Check the fuse box under the hood and the other under the back seat. Check the owners manual to determine which fuse corresponds to the seat settings and which ones corresponds to the windows. There are also spare fuses supplied in the fuse box under the front hood - passenger side. You can use these spare fuses, just make sure the fuse number matches the one you are replacing. Use the white fuse removal clip to remove the fuse and check it under the light - if it appears that the fuse element is burned or broken then it has to be replaced. Hope this helps.

On my vehicle there are two fuse boxes one at your feet on the drivers side and one under the hood on the drivers side both are covered by plastic covers hope this helps Merry Christmas

It should be in the Black fuse box next to the Brake Booster. Open the lid, under it you willl see the diagram of fuses to replace. Good luck.

You most likely have another fuse box either in the glove box or under the dasy. It sounds like a blown fuse.

2003 surbarban driver seat and passenger windows have common fuse/breaker under hood in fuse panel. 50 Amp fuse upper left of box, marked mped this is a big fuse not the little ones.

Your the problem your having with your car is because the CAN controlled area network is down.
The most common component to go bad in your model car is the right rear window motor. If your handy pull the rear door panel and unplug the motor for the window. if thats the cause everything will now be working again.Let me know if you need further help
