Question is a little confusing, Question asks about a '77, the Headline asks about a'79. I have a '77 and it's in a panel directly under the glove box door. You'll see 1 or 2 flathead chrome screws. You can turn them 1/4 turn counterclockwise and the panel door will open, hinge down, and a small light will come on so that you can see the fuses. There is also one or two in-line fuses under the hood right about the top center of the firewall. hope this helps.

Where is the leak coming from. The wheel areas or under the hood where the master or pump are located. This is a very critical repair and you must use the proper brake fluid. This system can not use DOT 3 OR 4. It will contaminate the system and destroy every seal. Let me know the integrity of the system and what it is you would like to repair.
