the best way to fix your problem would be having OBD (on board diagnostics )pluged to your car . am asuming u didnt disconnet your baterry before u started replacing the parts which ,made faul code or codes come on. Because those are very important sensors engine won't start until u reset the codes
If you haven't done so already, you would need to find out what is missing when it won't start to proceed. Does it have spark to the plugs, fuel to the injectors, and so on.
If you have no spark, and you replaced the Crankshaft Position sensor, you may have a faulty Camshaft Position sensor, failed Timing Chain or stretched Timing Chain, or a faulty ECM. Since the Camshaft Position sensor doesn't cost much, I would start with that after checking the Timing. Also, be sure to check the condition of the Connector going to the Crankshaft Position sensor and Camshaft Position sensor.
P0016: Crankshaft/Camshaft Timing Misalignment, A rationality error has been detected for camshaft position out of phase with crankshaft.
any problems with it?
P1391: Loss of the camshaft position sensor or crankshaft position sensor has occurred. This can cause the car to start hard or not start at all. Replace both of these sensor should fix the problem.
I recently had the same problem. I have a 1999 Intrepid. I changed the Camshaft position sensor and tha crankshaft position sensor. I haven't had anymore of those problems.
