My 2000 chrysler cirrus wont start or turn over the radio doesnt work but my headlights do and my hazzards but not my blinkers?

Does the car show any kind of electrical current? Or is it completely dead??

Hello, It could probably be the battery suffering a water loss. When there's no water sulfur acid will not be produced and the battery wont charge, therefore it will only work as a current path but once you turn the car off you can't start it. The solution is to check the water levels in the battery and also measure its voltage with a voltimeter. It has to be 12 volts or above ( +/- 5 % ). As a user and not an expert I DO NOT RECOMMEND opening the battery yourself since the acid is something dangerous that can seriously harm you. Let a professional do that, but it's always useful to check the voltage. Should all the previously mentioned steps doesn't work, you can ask about the alternator or its belt (might need to be replaced)

is this a 2.5lts engine? you dont tell but have few of this problems my self and ended on a 190dls distribuitor, and it is not easy to replace if you dont have god mechanicll skills found some one.
One other place to look is your timing belt? if snaps your distribuitor also wont turn.

hi possum , looks like #6 fuse , 20 amps , is for the combination flashers , looks like the location is when you open the driver door , end of the dash panel pops off , and there are other fuses under hood next to air filter box , has a cover on them . hope that fix ya
