Need location of cruise control image for 2005 GMC. Turns off when hits bump.

When traveling set cruise it works hit bump turns off.

Do you have a air bag light on the dash ? Check ground circuit for lose connection . Ground G203
In the I/P harness, on the left side of the I/P near the A-pillar below the I/P top cover .

Hay I would check your sway bar in the front .The bal may have came out of the seat located under front wheel well. Also they could be just loose. Check by rocking your jeep side to side .

need to find out where the inertia switch is and reset it. the inertia switch is used in case of a role over...any sudden hard hit will trip it and kill the power to the fuel pump

Intermittent Cruise Control Issue - cuts out when small bump in road is hit and may or may not re-engage after that.

Check the wire connector that plugs into the cruise control under the hood. Sounds like a loose connection. Remove the and reinsert the wire connector several times to make a better connection. Stepping on the brake pedal disengages the cruise control by a switch on the brake pedal, not the computer.

Check underside of car at transmission. around cruise control for any broken connections, broken or chewed thru wires, or possible loose connections. You cars computer is telling you where to look because of a problem. You will find what's wrong if you take your time. Good Luck Friend.

Problem with cruise on 2003 E350 7.3L engine

Hello! The Parking Brake Switch is defective...It is not adjustable ...it is held in pace by a locator pin and a bolt and is located on the brake controller.
wire colors are Light Green/Red and Black...The contacts are spring loaded and are closing due to vibration...If the bruise control is set and you nit a bump the contacts will close...If cruise is set it will clear it just as if you hit the brake...See picture below...Guru...saailer

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra Z71 4x4 that recently started making a loud creaking noise in the front end. It is very loud and occurs instantly when turning the steering left or right, and also is noticeable...

You might want to check the ball joint. None of them have grease zerks and can dry out. They will cause a noise when turning or hitting a bump, if really bad. Hope this helps.
