If the CEL is blinking this should mean codes are set. Light may go out when intermittent problem cures itself, but code should still be stored. If not, I'm stumped.

I have a 2004 Ford Taurus SES 3.0 DOHC V6. I have 3 misfires codes P0301, P0304, P0316 (Startup). Changed all 6 ignition coils & spark plugs, and fuel injector on 4. Low gas mileage. O2 Sensor?

i think its the ecu, i had misfire codes come up in my 06 explorer, changed everything like you did, it was the ecu, i got one on ebay with keys for 150, it worked, also ford systems require a fully charged battery

There are many things to check for this. You'll need a volt/ohm meter schematics and patience. I have the schematics for an 03, should be the same. You up to this??

I have a 1998 ford taurus the check engine light blinks and it doesnt want to pull up the hill.

When the CEL flashes you can damage the catalytic converters. Usually their are multiple misfires. The most likely cause is ignition, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ignition coils etc.

Could be crank sensor , ignition module and i wouldn't rule out the PCM . But before you start replacing parts test these componets . If you don't have diagnostic skills or a lab scope i suggest you take to a qualified repair shop that does . Hall effect cam crank sensor operation and testing Part 1 an SD Premium...

01 mazda tribute has intermittent miss, no CEL, what else can I try?

does the spark tester test for spark or the strength of the coil? an over the plug coil should be able to jump a 40kv gap on a gap spark tester. since the misfire is intermittent then it may not set a misfire code, but it will show a failure record in mode6 of the scan tool on test 53.

Is the wiring good going to the O2 sensors? Maybe just look the car over and see if you have any bad grounds. They can do weird things. Could be a bad ICU.
