2006 V6 Tundra starter obstacles

I think I saw the first and only directions to removing a starter in a Tundra that was not a V8, I understand it is a fairly straight forward procedure on a 2006 4.0 V6 tundra, but I can not remove the upper bolt, it is so tight and there is almost no room to get at the bolt. So my question is what am I doing wrong? Did I forget to remove something to gain enough access? I removed nothing except the two cables and one push wire. Does the exhaust manifold have to be removed, my luck I'd break it. All advice appreciated. THX.

It's in the engine bay fuse box as fuses 1 or 11. It should be marked as "EFI No1". try this website for reference.

06 4.0 v6 tundra won't start tried jumping it it just clicks once I unplugged the cables no power?

jumped with other car running?
if it clicks,
we next hot wire the starter solenoid,
if it clicks now with good battery (or running jump), it's a
1: bad starter. or 2: seized engine (turn by hand? yet)
if it cranks fast now hot wired, the KEY line is dead
ask how to fix either.

Fuel cutoff

what makes you think that.
or what tests , prove that.
btw, if the PCM thinks (by any means) that SPARK is bad, it will in fact cut all fuel. (no crash and burn like on TV @!)
so spark is first. not fuel.

see why? and the engine cant use fuel if spark is dead.so 2 reasons.
this is a jeep Grand Cherokee, commander,
and what engine, they have many.
always post engine then ask questions.

Where is the starter located 2006 toyota tundra 4.7 v8

the easiest way to locate it , follow the positive battery cable down to it, they are a bear to replace,, last thing I saw on them was you had to remove windshield wiper arms and all kinds of stuff to get to them heres what a guy listed on his 2006 If your Tundra has a 4.7 L v8 then be prepared for a long job. The starter is under the intake manifold and takes about 4 hours to take the intake manifold, fuel injection and some cooling parts off just to get to the starter. It is not impossible and I did it and save about 600.00 in mechanics fees

I need to replace starter motor in my 2000 Toyota Tundra 4.7 L V8. Do I need to remove the upper and lower plenum?

No you do not need to remove the plenums. The starter is removed and installed from underneath the truck of from within the wheel well if the wheel is removed. You should go buy a Haynes or Chilton repair manual for $20 they are indisposable to do it yourselfers and will give detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures.

I'd like to know how to replace toyota starter

usually mounted on the driver side or passenger side through the motor and possible a plate into the transmission. remove the negative terminal from the battery and set aside so it doesn't touch the negative post, climb under the truck, remove the starter and power and signal leads, replace with new or quality remanufactured, installation is reverse procedure of removal
